Now that your character is made, CREATE HIS/HER STORY. Explain why you were travelling on the Titanic. How did you get your ticket? What did you know of the Titanic before to got on board? Why was the Titanic famous before the tragedy? Research information related to the Titanic about why it made people want to go on it. Write down in your NOTEBOOK information that you find interesting to integrate into your story. National Geographic Part 4 You are now ready to start to write your story. Keep in mind that you are writing for a Newspaper! Your story has to be written in a NARRATIVE STRUCTURE. Your are the narrator. It is your STORY. Make it your own; make it believable. |

CREATE YOUR CHARACTER. Give him/her a name, a place where he/she lives, an occupation etc. DO NOT copy your character from a person who really existed. Get ideas from a real passenger’s life. KEEP A NOTEBOOK where you will write the main characteristics that you want to give to your character. Structure your character from your list. Inspire yourself from this website and video. CREATE YOUR CHARACTER'S ESCAPE Learn more about the Titanic’s tragedy to give you facts that you will need to write your story. You MUST integrate the real facts into your story like the date when it happened, how the Titanic sank, the real hour when it happened etc. Only use your imagination to create the way you survived the misfortune.
